One Pot Pasta

  • COOK TIME: 15 minutes
Step 1

Heat the oil in a large frying pan before adding the onions and garlic, stir-fry on a medium to high heat for 2 minutes. 

Step 2

Add the peppers, courgettes and beans to the onions and garlic, stir-fry for a further 1 minute.

Step 3

Add the water, pasta sauce, oregano and chilli flakes if using, mix well, before adding the Mevalia Fusilli. Bring to the boil, then reduce the heat to medium-low and cook the pasta for 10-12 minutes.

Step 4

Stir the mixture regularly to stop it from sticking to the bottom of the pan.

Step 5

To finish, season to taste and sprinkle with herbs of your choice.   

Recipe tips: the vegetable ingredients within this recipe are a guide and you can change any vegetables to ones you prefer.   

  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • ½ Red onion, diced
  • 1 Garlic clove, crushed
  • ½ Red pepper, sliced
  • ½ Green pepper, sliced
  • -½ Small courgette, sliced
  • Green beans cut into 3
  • 300 ml Water
  • 150 ml Tomato pasta sauce
  • ½ tsp Dried oregano
  • ½ tsp Crushed chilli flakes (optional)
  • 160 g Mevalia Fusilli
  • Chopped fresh herbs for garnish (optional)
  • Salt & pepper
