‘Fish’ Goujons

  • RECIPE MAKES: 2 portions
  • PREP TIME: 25 minutes
  • COOK TIME: 10 minutes
Step 1

Heat the deep fat fryer to a medium heat, according to manufacturer’s instructions.

Step 2

Place the low protein bread the blender and blitz until it reaches a breadcrumb consistency.

Step 3

Place the Fate Low Protein All-Purpose Mix, ProZero and breadcrumbs into separate bowls.

Step 4

Dip the banana blossom pieces in the Fate Low Protein All-Purpose Mix, then the ProZero and finally coat in breadcrumbs.

Step 5

Using a slotted spoon or tongs, place in the deep fat fryer and cook until the breadcrumbs are golden.

Step 6

Remove from the deep fat fryer and place on kitchen towel to remove excess oil.

Serving Suggestion:
Serve with sweet potato fries and tartar sauce.

  • 100ml ProZero 
  • 300g Mevalia Bread, blitzed into breadcrumb
  • 225g Tinned Banana blossom, drained and pieces cut in half
