Put basil, garlic and olive oil in a blender or food processor and blitz until smooth.
Season to taste.
Cook the pasta according to packet instructions.
Drain the pasta and put it back in the dry pan. Make sure that the pan is off the heat.
Mix in pesto and serve.
Top Tip:
Add some of your favourite permitted roasted vegetables for a bit of a extra flavour!
