Avocado Baked Beans on Toast

  • RECIPE MAKES: 2 servings
  • COOK TIME: 10 minutes
Step 1

Pour the tomato passata into a small saucepan along with the sugar, salt, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce and Mevalia Lattis/ ProZero and bring to the boil.

Step 2

Mix the Mevalia Bread Mix into a thin smooth paste with 4 tsp water, whisk into the tomato sauce to thicken.

Step 3

Add the avocado pieces and simmer gently for 4-5 minutes, gently stir in the butter at the end.

Step 4

Toast and butter any of the Mevalia sliced breads and serve with the avocado beans on the top.

  • 250ml tomato passata
  • ½ tsp sugar
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp white vinegar
  • ¼ tsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 40 ml Mevalia ProZero
  • ½ tsp Mevalia Bread Mix
  • 2 slightly firm avocados, diced
  • 4 slices of any Mevalia Bread
  • 10g butter
